I have an opportunity to buy one of these soundcards, but am not sure which is better or if both should not be bought.
I'm just starting out. have a computer and believe the specs will cover what's needed by these soundcards.
I plan on mostly doing everything via sampling, but would like the ability to add a mic input, potentially guitars, and/or other devices to allow recording of older mediums (i.e. cassette tapes, vinyl, etc.)
I'm aware that these are PCI based soundcards, but i just want to get my feet wet and start learning.
The price for either seems to be good (at least for my budget).
Any advice would be much appreciated!
