I am having trouble deciding whether to get an analog console or a digital one such as the DM24.

I'll be recording to a DAW on a PC or Mac.

I like the immediacy of the analog console but with a Digital one such as DM24 (actually only one currently) I can do without external AD/DA and go direct into computer.

The DM24 with FW card woudl cost me about 3 times what I can get a Delta 200 with 24 inputs (if deal works out).

I haven't tried out the DM24 yet and so far it looks like most people are satisfied with but complain about its user interface and some have reported problems with the faders going out of alignment and one report has its screen giving out. Also I have a feeling Tascam will be coming out with a new version of the DM24 as it is almost a 4 year old model if not that.

So what are you people using.

Analog board? Which one? Digital? Which one? Pros & cons? Which ones?

Argh. life was simpler when we had less choices..!
