Hello folks. I don't think I've ever posted here before. I just bought some inexpensive pres on eBay. I need some extra inexpensive ones to go with my DAW. I have 8 channels of some really nice pres - Millennia but I just need some extra to pull in through lightpipe in case I need more.
These are 1977 Beyer 100b and 100d. Eq and pre. 6 channels in all in a Stevenson Model 100 6x4 sidecar mixer. Anyone have a clue as to what I bought? Seller says it's Neve-ish/Api-ish. I don't believe that for a minute, especially since he sold it to me for $365.. I figure for 6 extra channels I can't lose unless it really sucks. I've heard of their mics but has anyone heard anything about their pres?
