I use an AT4033 for my vocals. I do like it, but I was wondering if there might be another mic in that price range that may be better suited to my voice. Opinionswould be appreciated. Here's a link to my tunes.

You really have to try some. Find a dealer that will work with you until you find the right one. Front End Audio and Pro Audio Toys are both pretty liberal about trying some out and it will be worth postage fees for sending them back and forth. Or you may have a large dealer near you that you can demo some. Sometimes studios will help you find the right one for a fee. Trying them yourself is really the only way to make an educated decision. Any other way is just a shot in the dark. Hearing is believing. Use your ears, then make a choice based on your tests.

I do realize that I have to test the mics at home to see if they are going to do the trick. The whole point of the question was to provide a sample of what my voice sounds like so I could get some recommendations of mics that may work with my vocal type (thereby narrowing it down). The only big music store within an hour of me is Guitar Center, and they're not all that happy about letting people audition mics because of health regulations.

Thanks for the heads up tubefire!
