Hi there!
I'm a bit of a recording novice and am ordering some equipment off of Guitar Center. I am wondering if anyone can confirm for me whether or not the LightSnake USB Microphone Cable (http://www.guitarcenter.com/LightSnake-USB-Microphone-Cable-330183-i1391847.gc) is compatible with the Nady SP1 Microphone (http://www.guitarcenter.com/Nady-SP1-Microphone-and-Stand-Package-277031-i1127105.gc). Will I need to buy additional accessories or will this mic hook directly into the cable? Or am I better off buying a USB mic? I'm working at a very basic level so I'm looking to invest in quality, but nothing extremely costly.

Unless you're trying to sell albums, in which case, abort the mission and explore other options - all of which are more expensive but will give you better results.
