If I track at 24 bit at 48k, is my sound quality on the final product going to be noticably better? If so, how do I get it to 16bit on the final mix. I have the Wavesuv22 (?) which I think is used to dither from 24 to 16, but I've never used it. Is it hard to get it dithered without getting artifacts such as pops and clicks that I've heard about? Do I put the UV22 on the two track inserts, or what? Thanks for your help.

Rob, Use the dither on your final mixdown to 2 channel stereo 16 bit. In Nuendo I think it's called Master effects if memory serves me correctly. Put it last in your effects chain. However if you're going to do any further editing or mastering on your audio then forget the dither and keep it at the high bit rate until the very end and then dither. I say this because your editing will sound better when done at a higher bit rate. The stock dither plugin in Nuendo will do a fine job.
