Welcome to Problem Based Learning, where we share and debate gear use and workflows. It may not always leave you smiling, but it will definitely leave you thinking.

Does this sound like fun?
Members can upload their track via the Upload here, then ME can download it and shoot it out. Heck, I'll even play.

The upload will be MP3 320 bitrate or less. Anyone who thinks you can't make an example with an Mp3, don't play.
If your version is a winner, maybe it will help your business.

Its all about fun and sharing workflow. So, don't take it too serious and this should be fun.

Everyone should play. This is a great idea... pending, of course, that we have people willing to do the mastering. ;)

I'd be glad to help and contribute, unfortunately (or, maybe fortunately, depending on how you look at it - LOL ) I'm as far away from being a mastering engineer as my dog is from riding bike. LOL (it's not for a lack of trying to get her to do it, tho. ;) )

So here is how I see this.

This is a Forum just like the Song and Mix Critique, but dedicated to mastering.

If it was me looking to hear what other Mastering Engineers can do to a sing of mine, I would Open of thread (in this forum http://recording.org/forums/master-this-mix.181/ ) , name it, upload your > track/ mix /song... (320 or less bitrate mp3) and see who takes it on. Its that simple.

This is a prime opportunity for the Mastering guys to show their stuff!
