hello, i was wondering what you guys thought about the quality of sounds you can get from pro tools le plugins(compressor, t-racks eq, etc.) vs. using say a couple fairly cheap Behringer tube hardware units for compression and eq(about $129 each)? I appreciate your input.

totally agree, many of todays plugs are very good, unless you have some serious high end hardware (and the money!) to archive better sonic quality, i sold some of my hardware over the years and use plugs instead, they just started to eat dust and look impressive, ohhh.... lot's of gear! didn't sold my lexicon thou... :wink:
