I need to upgrade from Pro Tools LE 6.4 to 7.
If I buy the PLUS package I get my choice of 2 plugins. The options are below.
Any suggestions?
I'm leaning toward the Pultec Bundle (EQ)
and a Compressor. Which compressor is better, Smack! or Slightly Rude?
My main use for compressors would be for vocals and possibly drums so I guess a natural compressor is more important than funcky effects.

The Upgrade PLUS kit includes authorization codes to download any 2 of the following plugins:
Smack! LE
Slightly Rude Compressor
Synchronic
Pultec Bundle
DINR LE

Actually, I find myself coming back to the Smack plugin more and more. Maybe I just haven't spent enough time with the Slightly Rude Compressor, but it is just so easy to get good sounds out Smack. It is fairly clean when used lightly, and can come up with some really colored sounds when you push it. I really dig it, and if I had to chose one, I would go with Smack in a heartbeat.

Having said that, one thing to keep in mind is that Smack comes automatically with the Music Production Toolkit. So, if somewhere down the line you decide to add the toolkit, you will be better off getting the Slightly Rude Compressor now, rather than "paying" for it twice.
