So, I just bought more ram for my powerbook g4 1.25ghz 15inch. I went from 768mb of ram to 2gb. Then I went into a Pro Tools that had plugins being used and expected to see the CPU bar on the system usage indicator to be lower but it seems the same?
whats the deal...grrrr!

Sticky old boy, the added RAM, will allow more of your music to be loaded into memory instead of constant disk usage, cashing. The power of your CPU is what governs the use and amount of plug-ins. The added RAM will allow faster response since it will not have to constantly be loading from or to the disk. Don't feel bad, you made a good decision.

shurely thats because cpu isnt memory......you might be able to
