Is anyone sucsessfully using any aardvark product with an athlon 64 set up?
If so what chipset are you using?
Since aardvark is out of business I have been unable to find this info.
Perhaps I will be the first to try it.
Since the nforce 2 chipset was the best performing AMD chipset for these cards I will bank on the nforce3/nforce 4 chipset as being compatible.
Would I be correct to assume this?
I would hate to have to upgrade to an older athlon xp. At least it would be compatible.
I would also like to add that I own the Directpro 24/96 card.
I really love this card and would hate to switch.
I cannot understand why aardvark bit the dust. This card sounds great, gives you the ability to monitor with effects with no latency, thanks to its onboard dsp chip.
Oh well that my luck, buy a card and the company folds. Lol.

If I do chance the 64 bit athlon will I know right away after my windows install if it will not work?
Or do I have to try to install the drivers and give it a test run in cubase?

I am partial to Asus, but the boys at the DUC (Digi support forum) are reporting great performance/stability with the DFI lan party nforce 3 754 board.

It's an awesome board, IMO the best 754 mobo out there, but 754 doesn't offer dual channel support like the 939's. 939 Mobo's from Gigabyte and MSI with the NF3 chipset would work well if you go that route.

Good luck
