I'm looking at IK essentials and total studio bundle 3 (musicians friend has it for $199). I have a baby so I simulate amps instead of micing. Which way should I go?

Don't forget, amp simulators will sound as good as the instrument input/preamp/converter you use.
I know I'm using my zoom R16 for input right now but working on a demo song. Also it includes more like amplitube metal and Hendricks :)
