Ive about 100 songs I recorded on a Tascam 4 track and am thinking of trasferring them to a daw,remixing them,overdubbing the rythm patterns with drum samples,and just generally fixing all the weak spots.
Whats the best place to look for a daw..would I be able to get a good one on e-bay and what are the minimum requirements I should look for?
Would I be able to enhance the analog sound substancially on a DAW?Which would be the best software for this kind of work?

I'm going to take a look at that forum-I've noticed that there are many knowledgable people as yourself here-you can read yourself into wisdom.But my first impresssion before heading off there,is that I'd rather buy something thats already built and work on learning the skills of the software included,mixing and mastering.
