Just curious about your opinions on bouncing quality: Is the sound of the resulting bounced file exactly the same? I've noticed some difference between a single real time effected file and the resulting bounced file after applying DeNoiser. Haven't experimented too much, but it was noticeable the first time.

Do you bounce 24 bit to 16? 48 KHz to 44 with acceptable results? I'm staying 44.1 - 16 all the time cause I'm still using Mac AV.

What differences did you hear? You mentioned denoiser? Was the bounced file noisier than the original?

Monitoring, routing of buses, input and output objects and relative levels (gain staging) can change how realtime playback compares to the bounced file. I don't know if that would be a factor in your case though. So far I haven't done extensive comparisons with Logic 5, but bounces do seem to sound as good as original playback. I usually bounce to 24-bit, or at least dither to 16 with POW-r.
