hi!i just bought 2 western digital one 40gb and one 80 gb...in my oc right now i have to maxtor...i took out the slave maxtor,and i installed the wd40gb to install the win xp pro on it... it makes the copying files and when tells me the computer will reboot in 15 secs,then gives me some kinds of errors...
is the first ti,e when i do that...maybe i did something wrong...
can someone tell me...the steps to do that!

Hey gabitzu, try this. Go into your bios. Go to the advance bios features and look for your boot log, ie: 1st device should be the floppy, 2nd should be your master HD (hard drive), and 3rd should be your CD rom. If you disable the first 2 devices, you'll be able to boot from the CD & load Win xp from there. Once windows starts loading, at some point you'll be prompted to select what drive to install windows. This process will take a little practice & patience, but if you follow the above steps, you'll be ok. Peace :cool:
