I am somewhat jealous. *smile*

Is your control room/live room situation taken care of, with acoustic treatment, etc.?

Behringer headphone amps seem to be hit-or-miss - I had two that were quite noisy - returned the first because it was unusable - the second was not as bad, but I eventually got tired of the noise.

I replaced it with a Mackie HM-54 - just a little more money - not as many buttons or routing options and 4 outputs (but plenty of power if you want to split cables). Nothing grand, but I sure don't miss the Behringer amp.

Thanks for the advise on the headphone amp. That and the headphones are the only thing i haven't ordered yet. I think I'll go ahead and get the Mackie.

As far as acoustic treatment... that's soon to come. This is a home studio. My vocal booth consists of two very heavy curtains hung in my hallway. It's small and the curtains absorb a lot. I plan on adding acoustic treatment to the two walls that don't have the curtains. My control room is aproximatly 8' x 10'. Used to be a bedroom. I'm gonna add acoustic treatment to some of the walls in here too. Drums will be tracked in the livingroom. Probably gonna have some portable walls that I can set up around the drum kit and put away when not in use.
