Up until now, I've only been recording myself, one instrument at a time. A band I was in many years ago knows I have recording gear and asked if I'd record a demo for them. I told them of my inexperience in recording more than one thing at once, and to be ready for possible failure, and the said not to worry.
Well, tonight they were here, and I've got to say, it went fairly well. I really enjoyed wearing a new hat, and not having to play. It was very interesting. I tried to keep things upbeat and positive...I could have prepared a little better, but all in all, it went well. We made good progress, and one more session should wrap it up.
I have Sonar 7 Pro and an M-audio 1010lt and all performed great.
Not a lot to say really, I'm just kinda pumped up at the new experience of recording several tracks simultaneously, not missing having a guitar around my neck, and making the performers comfortable and playing well. They seem genuinely happy with the results so far.
