I know this is not a new topic by any means but I am new to the forum and new to the game. I am interested in setting up a home recording studio however before I start I would like a little advice. I have my computer (but looking for another one), I have Reasons 3.0, a midi keyboard and my bass guitar. I hear so much about interfaces and I was looking at the Tascam 1082 but I don't know if it's really what I need. I want to hook up the midi, the bass and a couple of XLR mikes from the start. Any suggestions on literature, and equipment (new or used) will be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance
