I am looking to add sound to an HO scale model railroad rotary dumper. I have an Edirol R-09 to capture the sound file from the prototype unloader which is aproximately 46 seconds in length. I am having a Pic micro controller programmed to operate the unloader and would like to have the sound file activated every time the unloader was activated. Does someone make a component that would hold the sound file and drive a remote small speaker and be marketable with the unloader?
Thanks in advance,
Steve Paul

there are boards you can get that will hold sounds and can be activated to play them back. my brother in law uses them in these light sabers he makes for magicians, plays light saber sounds. my late stepfather had one programmed for his train layout with all of the metro north commuter railroad stops being announced. so yes, not sure where to find one though. you can try MTH, mikes train house. they may know.
