Hello -

I can't get music to come out of the main mix on my Behringer MX3242X, the headphones will work, if mon/control room button is pressed. .not sure if it's something I'm doing or the board is messed up?

Signal: computer to fast track via usb, fast track out to mixer 2 track in via rca cables.

Manual says: "If the 2-track button is not pressed the outputs provide the main mix signal" also: "all buttons are effective on the monitor output only, they will not affect the main mix signal delivered by the main outputs". this sounds like it says opposite things?

If the 2 track button is pressed the main mix meters light up like the music is there(monitors are not hooked up). if it's not pressed I get nothing from the mains?

hmm, its sounds pretty simple then. I don't know the console but one would think that there would be a button the made the mains active or not. On your channels is there a bus that points to the Main or Aux Outs or ? It sounds like you need to do this.

Hey thanks but I'm not following you...I tried doing what you said above, but still nothing.....I don't know alot about mixers...I've had this board for years and never used it much....lol....I'm just trying to play music from my computer thru the fast track to the mixer to the mains....page 19....I thought the way this talked if you don't have the 2 track button pressed the 2 track tape in signal should feed the mains?
