i need a preamp in front of my ad-converter.
ich have the rme-multiface and do the mix in my Cubase in realtime. but there is the need of a analog-like headroom like from a mackie-console. direct converted it sounds not so fat espescially the bass-sounds.
i need it mainly for my synth so not a mic preamp and 8 chanels.

i look at products like the digimax/lt or very interesting the new gainstation8 from spl...
are there alternative products you can afford?
