There absolutely is a manual, over 200 pages. You can open it from the program in pdf format. The tutorial is great to get started but does not cover everything you'll probably need or want to know.

The manual is also easily downloaded directly from the Steinberg website.

No one wants to deter you from asking questions here. It's just that answering the same question (yes, this subject has been dealt with before) over and over again gets really tedious. GF probably doesn't feel it as bad as some of us who have been around for a little longer.

FWIW I don't read the whole manual. I sort of read the contents, skim through any new topics or titles I don't know, then check it when I need help on something.

But mostly I just dive in headfirst then learn bad habits/inefficient ways.
