Welcome aboard John! Cubase is one of the major system out there. I've been thinking of buying it. The three systems that I think are worth checking out are Logic, DP and Cubase.

Looking forward to reading about Cubase from you and our members.

Hello and Welcome John,
You may have seen my moniker at one of the
"other" Cubase forums, do I know of you John?
If not tell us a little about yourself.
Like what version of CB you are useing, PC or MAC.

Here is you first Q. hehehe
Do you know if it is still possible to
"Crossgrade" from Cubase PC to MAC??
I'm buying a MAC soon and if I can't crossgrade I may have to consider a competitive upgrade to LOGIC. I really like cubase especially because of the VSTi's,
and I would hate to move to Logic unless I had no other choice.
I realize this is not the best Question for your first one, but....

I haven't been able to get into the darn
cubase.net forum for several days and I've about had it with that place, :D

Once again, welcome aboard!!!

Hi Simonsez,

And wow, time flies when you are having fun and working hard...and I won't bore you with the details, but thank you for the greets. I'm glad to see that *someone* responded to your question. Ahem. I promise to be more attentive.

I can also confirm that here in Canada it is possible to cross-grade:

And now...about me. I have always perused Cubase forums, but this is my initiation as an active member. I've been using Cubase on both Mac and PC for a number of years. I'm a digital audio gear/software junkie, been playing multiple acoustic/electronic noise makers for over 23 years and work for a digital audio compression technology (ie: mp3, etc.) co. called http://www.QDesign.com.

I hope that my squeaks (my main thing is sax) are beneficial to the group here.

Cheers,

John
