Hello

There are 2 Versions of the LSR 6328P Active-Monitor.
Newer ones with handholes on the side and older ones without any handholes.

Does anybody know if there is a difference in sound ?

Thanks.

The ones without the handles are the original series, LSR28P, the new version is LSR6328P.

I have a set for L C R, and use the matching LSR6312SP Sub for LFE, running the L C R speakers through the sub allows matching bass management which can be shut off with a remote switch.

The LSR6325P series should be used for surrounds in smaller to medium size rooms.

Please take this as a personal opinion, you really need to audition them yourself.

I bought the 6300 series last year, but had to listen to the 4300s just to see!!
I found the 4300 series to be a little bit of a compromise to meet a less expensive market. They are a bit underpowered, and not as accurate as the 6300 series.
They were created for the "Project" studio market.
