Quick one here...

Read subject... some say Home, but I see many DAW vendors offer Pro. any suggestion for Pro Audio ?

I see no real reason to spend the extra for Pro unless you need the remote desktop function. If your DAW is installed in a closet or another room for noise reasons, you could control it from a quieter PC in your control room using remote desktop. Depending on distance you could get the same functions using extended KVM cables. The choice is up to you but IMO Pro is a waste of money for a DAW.

rule of thumb in the daw world... never be the guy who has to have the new stuff right away..if you want to be that guy you better like troubleshooting!

So in other words..don't be so quick to go and get the 64bit beta or release! You know there's always issues at first. XP Pro or Home work great right now!

Pro and Home are indential other than
Pro has
1) support for dual processors
2) advanced networking in a corporate environment. (login on to a domain controller)
3) better remote access ability (using a laptop to control your daw)
only the controling system needs pro the controlled can be home.
