hey ive been on here before about vocals but if there is anyone out there that uses plugins such as tc native Wavessonic foundry can you tell me whats a good eq and compression for vocals to get that krips clean sound, i record vocals srtight into the mixer with no eq right into soncar but i cant seem to get a god sound i just think I'm doin somthing wrong

There isn't a magic formula for processing vocals .. it depends on the voice and the genre of the song... they are all different. I usually track straight into Sonar with perhaps a very slight softknee compression, but I don't EQ at all until I come to mixing. You can always add EQ during post production, but you can't remove it once you have introduced it at the recording stage.
Perhaps you could put up a link to your tracks so that we can hear it and offer specific advice?

When I upgraded my preamps and started getting much more picky about the mic I chose for a given vocalist, I found that I needed less and less eq on the tracks. Sometimes no eq is needed at all.
