Hello there! I hope this is the right place for this kind of job. I want to get a relatively clean track of the vocals from a song, i.e. no instruments. I have been trying to do this all night without much avail. I've been watching videos and tutorials, trying to find one a clean vocal track online, but I haven't been very successful. I don't have ANY experience with audio editing/mixing so I thought I'd get some help from you :)

I have found other videos which I thought would help but I haven't managed to do much with them:

That's because it's not possible in any practical sense....
AT BEST - you can remove any center-channel information (ie, anything that is common in the L and R channels of a stereo signal).... but what's left after that is anything that ISN'T common to both channels, which often includes effects and the "stereo" portions of any instruments or other vocals....
The only practical way to have a clean instrumental is to mix it that way... after the fact, as someone pointed out, it's like trying to extract an egg from a cake that already baked. It's not going to happen.

There are supposed to be some apps that can do that with various degrees of success, search the interweb.
