T47 vs. KSM44 vs. T12 vs. SM57 on vocals

Once again the SM57 holds its own. The DIY T12 was interesting. I did not like the 'puffy bottom end on the Shure KSM. I don't remember them sounding like that.

Dave, the KSM sounds like that when we are very close to it. On the second part of the video I recorded it at 6 inchs and it sound better.
Thing is I needed to record the T12 very close because that's the way it sounds the best. So to be fair I did both positions on all the mics ;)
I think it also served the SM57 who got more bottom compared to further away.

Note that I don't have the widest voice around... My vocal is a bit thin and narrow to begin with.
