Bouncing from Pro Tools with windows?

So how do I go about getting my song OUT of Pro Tools without bouncing to disk? Im windows based... And what are these products Sony vegas and all that about? they are good for mastering? and how can I use them? I tried busing everything down to one stereo track then recording that, and it worked and all, but how do i get this file out of Pro Tools without bouncing it?

Expander/Direct Out/Wha?

I have a Behringer MX9000. I have an Alesis HD24. What is the best/easiest method of using all 24 tracks of the HD24? I have 16 tracks through the 8-bus and internal patching of the MX9000. Should I go Direct Out, Mix-B (which I am totally not understanding fully when it comes to the recording/playback routing side of things), or just use the Expander port and add a little mixer? Or what?
