Rebooted a dormant song from 3 years ago. I’m a better song writer, arranger, mixer and musician now, so I decided to have another go at it. Plus, I wanted to really play the solo instead of using Shredder 2!

In a month begins a recording of romantic and contemporary works for piano and double bass. I meditate to acquire a microphone to record the double bass with guarantees in the register especially and low. I have several AKG 414 but the tests I have performed do not satisfy me.

My Zoom H4N skips during playback as if it has been jolted at some point (it has not).

Has this happened to you? Is there a setting to prevent this?

I have a problem with my MXL 770 mic
Yesterday that was all ok.
But now i hear so many background/static noise from the MXL 770.
I attached file with that hum.

What can i say more..
It is not problem with mixer or cable.. i was connect mxl 990 with the same cable, mixer, and input channel
and 990's haven't problem.

I stored my condenser microphones in a cabinet with some silica gel packs. What's the Humidity/Hygrometer Reading supposed? 40-50?

I am trying to setup a youtube channel on the cheap and got a condenser mic and amp. I recorded with multiple programs all registering very low signal strength. How do I increase the signal strength of my recordings? The XLR output goes to my audio jack.

anybody seen this yet?
