My question is related to Midi and not to Ableton strictly, and since I'm using Ableton I will post it here.

Hey all, this will be my first post on the forum.
I seem to have a problem with static/white noise. even when my mic is muted on my Behringer x2222. My mic is an AKG P420.
The white noise always shows up when I normalize a track, whether I'm recording nothing or my guitar or voice. I'll put up some pictures of my configuration too. Thanks for the help in advance!

So I recently got a new computer and installed all the same equipment onto this superior computer, however I have been recording issues. I keep running into a strange cracking noise that appears randomly in my audio, its not from any outside sources and I turned off my anti-virus and has not worked. When testing this issue i have to keep recording for around 3-5 minutes until I hear it.

hey all. I've been bouncing this around around in the noggin. Take DAW of your choice, and picture a basic 24trk audio mix, with a plugin on each channel. This type of session would run on just about any computer hardware from the last ten years.

I'm selling my RODE NT-USB, and I'd like to replace it with a proper XLR mic to go with my new audio interface. I was thinking along the lines of the RODE NT1 or the RODE NT2-a (probably out of those two I'd go for the RODE NT1).

For some reason my bass sounds really distorted and bassy. When I do a low cut and put a compressor on it it sounds much better though. Is this normal? I am plugging my bass directly into my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8. I have attached an mp3 of the unprocessed bass.

What do you think ? who is that for ?
