Is it possible to record more than 4 tracks on the h4n in MTR mode? I would think bouncing to on mono track would allow you to add 3 more overdubs, bounce again and add 3 more. I have a project due tomorrow that requires 4 violins, 4 violas, 1 piano and 1 vocalist.
I found this out via a promo that BFD is under new ownership. Its a weird way to find out considering i own about 3/4 or more of the entire BFD collection. I would think they'd send an email to all registered customers.

Just before Covid , I invested an awful lot of money in a new touring flown PA - 12 boxes in total with amps and a new 32 channel Midas stage box, Midas FOH mixer and and extra X32 rack in the stage rack, and new track playout machine.
I was chatting to my son about the British really popular Police drama Line of Duty. I was interested as he's a Police Officer here. I expected him to moan about Police process mistakes, or the things they do, but no - his complaint was the interview recorders which are the latest type - solid state and when you hit the button they make the long loud tone, before they start recording.

good preamps
good metering is welcome
budget is 1500 Euro max
I have a fender jazzmaster that generates a lot of hum in the system. Have a Samson MDA1 direct box. Will this reduce the hum? I'm going into a ZED10FX mixer, into the GTR1 HiZ channel. If it will help, is there anything I should know about hooking it up? Thank you
i've been using Audacity and other free programs to try and get speech from an audio recording i've legally taken ( my state is a one party record state) from my bedroom. i can make out some of the words but most of it i can`t understand.
