Hoping for some (positive) criticism
Hi guys/girls
I really learn(ed) a lot on this board (hope I did ;-)
I was wondering if someone could give me some real honest feedback on my music. (from arrangement to overall sound, feel to whatever, etc.)
Please don't be gentle ;-) with it.
And please be as honest as you can
Thanks & Cheers

Small amp big sound
I have heard again and again that you can get a big sound out of a small amp. I don't really understand how this is possible, and was wondering if someone could expain this phenomenon.
I am after a Guns&Roses (Appetite for destruction) kind of sound. Or a Lynyrd Skynyrd (That Smell) sound. Can I get this with a fender champ or little danelectr?

Multing Tips for Digital Mixes
In an earlier discussion Julian mentioned that he has been having great success in rock tracks by multing the kick and snare to several channels and then combining them to get more punch and depth to his digital mixes.
I would love to know some very detailed settings people are using to do this on kick, snare, and even vocals and bass.
Thanks so much.

panning 3 mic drums
ok, i've started doing the fletcher-esque 3 mic drum kit thang, but i'm not entirely sure how to pan it.
specificaly, the snare always is [kinda obviously] louder in one channel.
as i'm also doing this with a Royer stereo ribbon, this is also an issue with this mic. where do you put a stereo mic over a kit? and how do you deal with lopsided volume [mainly snare]?

Created with Digi-001
This is some thing I put up just to get my site on. It's a little sloppy as I was in a hurry. Everything you hear was done with a Brian Moore guitar, GR-33(Roland Synth)and a Zoom RT-323 drum machine. Thae solo is a Fender strat through a G-Force and a Marshall. Much more Fusion to come.
Thanks for having a great forum.

HEDD users - what clock?
Calling all you HEDDites who are using the HEDD as your primary converter!
I'm trying to settle on a word clock topology and am wondering how you guys are making it work.
1. HEDD as clock master (using a word clock DA to distribute the HEDD clock round the studio)
