MOTU Mac Site members where are you?
Strange thing here
We had over 35 members join up the other day from MOTU Mac Site but not one posted anything here.
Happy to see all the new members but strange not to see a post on this forum. . any thoughts on that?

Wanted: Someone to design two custom DirectX plugins
Folks,
(Sorry for the cross-posting.)
I'm looking for someone who knows how to write DirectX plugins and who is willing to devote a small amount of time to help advance scientific knowledge.
Raid ?
My motherboard has the tech but I don't know if it's for me. Two hard drives ata type. I've gotten rid of partitions on main drive and all is well. Followed Opus info to the letter(ok I'm still working on getting another 7200rpm -budget you know!). Will Raid be helpful and what are best settings?

Does Radar 24 have virtual tracks?
All the HD systems approach this stuff differently. While I tend to go for a track being a track (as opposed to a region being a region or section or whatever), I do like the idea of such things as multiple UNDOs and virtual tracks.

Radar II or Radar 24. Which or does it matter?
I'm a little (make that a lot) confused as to the difference between Radar II and Radar 24. I know, from reputation, that the Radar system has a solid reputation for being solid, amongst those who are used to analog recording. I know Radar 24 has brought the price down, and uses BEos (actually that long Internet name).
Analog Lovers Bundle
I was just checking out the Analog Lovers Bundle of the Radar 24. That is basically the way I'd want to use it; Tracking and mixing through an analog board and outboard equipment.

Anyone redone an Otari's electronics
I have an old MX-5050 8sHD 1/2" 8 track and was wondering about redoing the electronics to improve it. I've got the full schematics for the unit, and it's the earlier modular two-piece unit with the record/reproduce electronics in pairs in a seperate rack from the transport, so it'll be easy to access.
