Trolling for Trident Info...

Hello,

Just another newcomer (to these forums) looking for gear info.

I'm looking for info on a Trident Series 65. I am familiar with the 80's, but that's it. Any one have ideas on how the 65's compare to the 80's? What about their value? Ok, I'm looking at buying a studio that has a 65 installed. Just wandering what I could be getting myself into.

Thanks

Need a "little big" console - HELP!

Really hoping someone can send me a brainwave here.

ProControl is soon to be a thing of the past in our "A" room. Rather than use Pro Tools A/D/A stages to interface all of our "cool guy" analog comps and EQ's, we are ditching the Pro Tools-as-mixer paradigm and going for something analog. Long story as to the 'why' of it, but this is the direction.

a H910 or H3000 style pitch shifter

All the pitch shifters I have found are formant based designed for a single monophonic sound. Are there any good pitch shifters in VST format that can work just like an Eventide 910 or 949? I'd love to pitch up and down a few cents, and even better I'd love to feedback the effected sound back into the pitch shifter to create that killer 70' effect.

Any advice?

Problems with Nuendo

I recently started using nuendo on a 450 mhz amd k6 3 machine with 192 megs of ram and a 12 gig 5400 rpm hard drive and with windows 2000.

I was hopping to be able to at least run enough trks to do vocal comps at home. I can't even run 1 16 bit trk.

Any thoughts that could help without me having to upgrade to a huge machine.

Thanks
