In this video, I compared all my preamps with 2 different mics (Shure SM57 and Microphone-parts.com T47 DIY kit) What many want to know is if an external preamp even the cheapest is better than those included in an interface. And how will they compare to highend preamps.

hi guyz, right now I'm using a behringer b2pro. very entry level microphone. I wanted to ask you if you had a microphone (not in pairs) to recommend for recording a grand piano at home.
the room is (4x10) and the piano is a beautiful bluthner 220 cm from 1890.
i was looking for RODE nt1 / Okm II or a Akg P420. unlikely i cant go over 200 $.
This 900a Series is in to get TRS jacks in to replace the terminal connectors. I made a Custom PCB to replace the board mount terminal connector and reuse the original metal work with a 3D printed mounting plate.
The next project on the bench is this 1967 SA-39B Limiter.
This is a really bizzare problem I cannot figure out.
Last one for a few days - my wife has some days off and seems to think we should do some decorating rather than this music thing - so that's music scuppered for a few days.

I figured Careless Whisper would be a good song to re-record, and I discovered the original George Michael isolated vocal track on the net, so there are two versions - the track, followed by George Michael's lyrics on the top!
Ive been practising mixing . Its all in the box . I ve tried to do it instintively and ended up
with 56 plugins lol .
I also experimented with the crushstation, i bought yesterday . I used it on the bass octaver,
and the slide guitar . Im not a slide player so its a bit rough .
