Just for fun ... But don't read my gear first ;-)
Do you review this battery, what brand could it be?
How many microphones do you use?
What system was used (preamplifiers and converters)?
Is it a battery that could go on a Professional Album?

Which mics for home piano recording?
I have free access to these mics (in matched pairs): Neumann M49, Neumann M149, Neumann M250, Neumann M269, Coles 4038 and RCA MI 6203. Which ones would you choose to record a Yamaha C7? My mixing console only allows for 6 simultaneous mono mics. Thanx!

dbx 161-Mods
Working on two of these beauties right now. Nice design, nice PCB layout. The customer wants new caps, a few power supply repairs and to add Jensen input and output transformers to these normally unbalanced units. The 160 (the famous unit) uses the same PCB as the 161 but a has a solid state balanced input and output circuit populated. This mod, IMO, is way better ;)
