Hi all!

I've been recording for a while now but everything I know is just from fooling around and experimenting on my own. I've been fairly satisfied with my music as a beginner, but I'm ready to take things to the next level. I just don't know how! haha I just have so many questions and I'm hoping the forum community will help me out.

If anyone could posibly point out anything i can do to improve the mix of this please let me know as this track is kinda important

Looks like there are some Avid shows around the country. Please tell us what we are missing and/or what everyone who has Pro Tools HD will gain from Pro Tools 9.

I just recently got into making beats. I have Logic platinum 5.5, and a concertmate 990, is that an okay MIDI controller to use with logic 5.5? And do i only need to plugin to my computer using a MIDI cable or do i need other stuff such as an audio interface?

i know still to this day, professional engineers still question panning. my problem is...when I'm mixing a track, i tend to pan every instrument to the slightest touch...i kind of imagine a concert or a club and imagine all the instrument playing in the back of the artist. that would be my reason why i usually dont pan instruments fully to the left or fully right.

I need to get a hold of Pro Tools 9 so that i can use my Pro Tools 101 DVD with it as I'm studying it in college just now but i dont have an m box to use with pro tools 8, is there a place i can get a demo of pro tools 9 or whatever ? let me know please if you can help. I have a question. We are mixing down using some Sony headphones, sounds cool. But go to ear buds, different sound, go to speakers with horns hmmmm harsh, etc etc.
