Got it. I do have to say they packed it very well. The first two faders are very loose. All the rest are fine. Im going to let it warm up and then Im going to tear it apart and clean it and see whats going on with the first two faders. Hopefully an easy fix. The salesman/manager said the unit powered up and all the faders reset, so I hope they are just loose.

Trying to move recording to the comp. At least vocals. Anyone know the proper setup for this combination. Transport buttons work. Sliders seem to work no I really don't think its hocked up properly. I am familiar with midi pedal controllers. Do you have to set up each control like that or is there a academic setup that will get me familiar.

Hi there new to the forum and was hoping to find a little help,

I'm looking at buying a used Groove Tubes sm5 off a buddy of mine. He let me borrow it first to check it out and it's got a noise problem. The mike sounds fine but has a pretty low frequency noise pop type of thing that comes in every few seconds.

Pros/Cons? What's the difference?
