Van Halen did NOT invent tapping... This Italian guy did in 1965
This is an excellent example of how sound effects and the amplifier has such an influence to the sonic candy.
Timing is everything in business and fashion.
20 year later, same technique made Eddie Van Halen millions.
Eddie, if you ever reads this, chime in and please share your story. Did this guy have any influence on your style?
Zed R16 & RME UFX
Im in the process of setting up a home recording/mixing studio, but being kind of stuck at the moment.

Apex 205 test recording

EV RE20 vs. RE320
I've never used the Electro-Voice RE20, but I know many of you US people swear by them, along with the Shure SM7, and I know the radio and VO people really like them. They're just not very popular here. However, I have two different projects coming up and it occurred to me that the 320, could possibly do both.

500 series pre's
Aloha friends,It's been a while. I'm looking for some different flavors in regards to mic preamp's. I've used the p-1 by A designs really loved it . Great prescense, not any real difference from the Pacifica which is cool , A little less mula
