I need some opinions about the Tannoy pbm 6.5 and the Krk st8 passive monitors.

ok, so i just finnished my bands CD in cool edit pro. i saved all the songs in wav format for bet quality. but now itunes won't let me open them, and i cant burn them in windows media player. when i mouse over the the file it says,

I've been looking through the posts on the U87, but I'm not really sure about which version to look into. I notice some people don't like the current version. I know about the sensitivity and noise figures, but apart from these, how big is the difference between versions?

I know this might be a stupid question but while I'm waiting for my M AUDIO MIDI to USB hook up I am wondering these things.

I got a cheap Radio Shack keyboard. Its not super cheap but still its not much. It does have a bender to bend the notes though, only the one way. ( I know I see the ones now with 2 of them (?))

What your experience with it ?

In a comparison between the Gold Channel and others solid state preamps like 9098, api 512, or any Neve like 1081 or 1073, Focusrite red or isa, etc., in applications like male vocal tracking, do you think that the Gold Channel have equivalent performance ?
What the pros and cons ?

I decided to try to get into home recording to record my band. I bought myself an Audiophile 2496 soundcard. I already have a Studiomaster Club 2000 mixer. I'm wondering if I can hook these 2 up to my PC as I'm having a few problems.

I am doing a song and want to record my bass amp. I have a carvin stack with a 15 and 2-10 inch speakers. I tried to just run the bass direct into my isa 428 with a rnc off of the side chain. I did not like the way it sounded. No punch. I am going to try a D112 on the 15" and sm57 on the 10"s. I don't have a DI box so I want to capture the sound of my rig.

diff software based setup! Nuendo, Protools,Sequoia and Samplitude and even vegas! Along with Yamaha 16G which I already have two of them!

Ive been wondering for the past couple years now just how to get started in making music for commericials. i basically cant write complete songs thatwel, but i can make 1 min and less cool things.. and my friends and others always tell me most of my stuff sounds like something from a tv commericial, or even radio commercials, or movie/video game stuff... ha.. i dont know...

Hi! in a previous topic (see "upgrading PC to serial ATA standard") Big_D suggested me to consider building a P4 pc on my own - instead of going to buy an assembled one in a pc store. I would upgrade my recording station from P3 1Ghz ATA to a P4 3 Ghz serial ATA.
