Salvaging scrambled digital audio?
Forums
Hi folks. This seemed the best sub forum for this, please forgive and advise if i'm wrong.
A friend of mine passed away about a year ago, young kid, really sad. I found this audio recording I made in which he's talking for about 20 minutes straight (he liked to talk--most 17 year olds do!)

Is it worth it to upgrade my converters?
Forums
Hi Guys,
I haven't been around much lately, fortunately, because I've actually been busy with projects.
I am working pre-production with an artist right now that is about to record a full album here at my studio and I am trying to figure if it is worth it to upgrade my converters for it. The album will be folk/southern rock stuff.

Help With BR 1600 Needed
Forums
I have been transferring wav from my Br 1600 to my computer successfully thru the USB cable . Unfortunately now my Br 1600 will not connect to my computer. When I export my files to the comp ...the Br 1600 just says " waiting ..." and never connects. Any ideas ? I have changed the USB cable and tried a different computer.

Wide orchestra, narrow chorus
Forums
Hi, I have a gig coming up recording a chorus and chamber orchestra concert in a church. It's the Bach Magnificat.
The chorus will be in choir stalls on either side of the altar, thus facing each other across the altar. Some singers (probably tenors only) will be standing along the back of the altar.

PreSonus StudioLive 32.4.2 daisy chain
Forums
Do any of you have any idea whether a PreSonus StudioLive 32.4.2 can be daisy chained with their 16 or 24 StudioLivemixers? We are looking for an FOH mixer with min. 40 channels. Thinking to go digital but not finding many options with that many mic preamps.

Donny's Snare Samples, Free :)
Forums
I recently recorded some replacement snare drum tracks for a client to use as an alternative to a bad sounding VSTi snare sample that he was using on a song.
I figured I would make them available here for free to anyone who feels like they might be able to use them.
