Where should I put this stuff
I have two hard drives. Let's call 'em A and B. Now i keep all my programs on drive A and my recorded audio on Drive B. I also have about a gig of samples and sounds for Reason and Cubase. Should I store these as well on drive B? Or does it matter?

finishing what you started...
Hey --
MM asked me to start a new topic about this as another thread:
Basically, how do guys feel and deal with having someone else mix a record that you've recorded?
I'm talking about something that you did completely or almost completely -- not just an overdub here or there

The New Asus TUSL2-C Motherboard W/Onboard Raid
I was wondering what people think of having onboard raid. Asus just came out with a new version of the TUSL2-C motherboard, and it has onboard raid from Promise. It has four ultra ATA/100 controllers (including the raid controllers). I have a Promise Fasttrack 100 raid PCI card, and it gives me a lot of grief.

Anybody remember.
Anyone rememeber the dynamic mic that Yamaha made around 1983? I remember using it to mic toms and I loved it. I wish I hadn't sold it.
Darn. :(

Is 48K the top rate for ADAT Lightpipe?
Can anyone answer me this? If yes, what kind of "protocol" is used for 96K on those MOTU Interfaces, those RME Multiface, and all the 96K converters around?

Who's this Larry Sheehan cat?
Any relation to Fran Sheehan the bassist for Boston? Or how about Billy Sheehan the bassist for The DAvid Lee Roth band and Mr. Big?
Do you even play bass?
Taylor
