Presently i am tracking all my songs to the hard drive. Can anyone please help me with a list of suitable CD writers i can use for my studio (writers which are compatible to the Korg d1600.

This is my first message in any forum, yes a forum virgin!

Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any feedback on the following:

I work at a small theatre and am anxious to increase the automation of our audio work. We use Pro Tools Free, Digital Performer, Peak, Reason, etc. to produce the audio for our productions, but playback during performance is still primarily from CD, minidisk, and simple playlist apps like SoundJam.

Just wondering if anyone has used the Lucid A/D 9624 with it's own internal clock AND also clocked to a Lucid GENx6. I'm curious if it sounded significantly different. I realize this is pretty subtle and subjective, but I'm interested if anyone has noticed a difference, subtle or not? I have an A/D 9624 on order for testing and have been contemplating ordering a GENx6 too. Anyone?

Any info/feelings/input/2-cents-worth on the mic preamp's would be greatly appreciated.

I know I am doing the here again transfers and also a few other small ones also. But I apologize but since the tragedy that happened there will be a few day delay on me getting them out to you due to the faact that the mail fed ex etc is running slow. And there has been a parking ban in downtown cleveland.Whisch is where are studio is . So just bear with me it should be all on track by monday.
