I work at a small theatre and am anxious to increase the automation of our audio work. We use Pro Tools Free, Digital Performer, Peak, Reason, etc. to produce the audio for our productions, but playback during performance is still primarily from CD, minidisk, and simple playlist apps like SoundJam.

Just wondering if anyone has used the Lucid A/D 9624 with it's own internal clock AND also clocked to a Lucid GENx6. I'm curious if it sounded significantly different. I realize this is pretty subtle and subjective, but I'm interested if anyone has noticed a difference, subtle or not? I have an A/D 9624 on order for testing and have been contemplating ordering a GENx6 too. Anyone?

Any info/feelings/input/2-cents-worth on the mic preamp's would be greatly appreciated.

I know I am doing the here again transfers and also a few other small ones also. But I apologize but since the tragedy that happened there will be a few day delay on me getting them out to you due to the faact that the mail fed ex etc is running slow. I have a small studio with one live tracking room and one control room. We are in the process of adding a vocal booth. I have some outboard preamps I would like to have access to in both the vocal booth and the main tracking room. I need to be able to patch into the inputs of these pres. I am currently using a TRS 1/4" patchbaybut will be upgrading to a TT patchbay soon.

Dont know if I'm in the right forum section here but has anybody heard of Hill Audio consoles. Just wondering if this thing is worth taking a look at:
