I'll be getting a pair of good small diaphragm condensers, here in a couple months.
Would like those of you with experience with these mics to describe how there character in sound.
They'll be used as overheads to track drums for all genres, and they'll be my main SDC's

Meaning, as the end result...mp3, CD, iTunes, etc?

I really love AV and I want to get more into it, but where should I start? What should I start learning or doing? I have loads of gear and software but I'm not sure how to use it to its full effect at the moment,

Im starting to setup my studio again. Do you think this might be over kill for a clean vocal? Inside the SE Reflexion is the Shure SM7B. As you can see i have panels. So when i stand behind mic, there will be a panel behind me/back facing panel.

I have some rack mounted gear enclosed in a box, and I am questioning whether the cooling fans are facing the correct way. Currently, they are blowing air inside, towards the equipment. Should they be faced to where they are blowing the air out (exhausting the hot air)?

Hi everyone, this is my first post so please forgive me if the answer to my query is blindingly obvious to you all! I've searched online for a while and cannot find concrete evidence for me to continue!

I've used few nice preamps for about 5 years now, groove tubes brick, Old school audio preamps, and I still use an api 512c and purple biz as well as the stock preamps in my 896 and 828 interfaces.

I need someone who has considerable experience in using Cubase or FL Studio to work with on some projects.
