I sure hate to ask stupid questions, & this 1 probly falls in2 that category, but... I'm essentially trying to do a loopback w/my audiobox usb, i.e., I need to record the output of my computer & my microphone simultaneously. Any1 got any suggestions?

I'm getting completely frustrated with this issue because google can't give me any good results when trying to address this problem. So I must make a post.

I have one of these left over from my when i bought a Sony JH 16 24 back in the the late nineties. I barely used the tape before ditching the Sony because it was just not reliable enough to use (without a full time tech on the staff!). Is it worth anything? Someone told me that it would probably need baking - is that true.

Hi all, I need a (CHEAP) mixer to go in front of my Tascam DP-01fx. It's great for what I've been doing in the past, but now I need something to add more inputs without screwing up the sound. Are the old Tascam mixers with the wood sides worth checking into?

Does anyone happen know why there is a playback delay when recording on to my laptop?

Even when an instrument is plugged directly into the laptop, there is a half a second or so delay between playing the instrument and hearing it through the headphones.

This is obviously quite a hindrance! Any ideas would be gratefully received

Hi guys. I am looking to use a midi setup with a live 5 piece band. I am trying to use some form of programmable midi tempo/time signature track to also control effects for all the instruments. The effects may be rackmounted hardware or vst(i). I will probably use hardware for the effects and just use a vsti for the drummer's triggers.

Avid are ditching the 003 line. The Digi interfaces are being dropped. No more support. If you own a Digi, it's time to sell or you can wait for the next thing. The next thing you say? Yeah. I know this is going to cause an uproar when it get's released. We've seen the video. Here it is:
