I have a question about clock source settings in the UFX.

At the moment i have setup like this:

UFX ADAT out -> ADI8 ADAT in
ADI8 ADAT out->UFX ADAT in

Also i have a word clock cable going from the UFX wordclock out -> ADI8 wordclock in

I just got a 1967 Ampex 440 4 Track Recorder and it has one problem that I can't figure out. When I press the play button or any other button on the control panel it the does the same thing. The rewind motor goes into rewind mode and the take up reel goes into fast forward mode. So, it is running in rewind and fast forward at the same time.

I am currently having an issue when multi track recording a worship band at my church, I have a the sound desk that goes into my 8 channel preamp and the preamp connects into my 8 channel interface via ADAT, which then connects into my laptop through USB.

I did a query of the subject and it appears the Slate Digital Raven was last discussed in 2012. It appears that there were no great fans of it at that time. Has anyone experience with this ? Has Slate Digital stepped up to the plate yet ? I'm just curious. I'm working on a MBP 13" laptop. Currently, I use an old HP 19" monitor.

I have it opened up and nobody can seem to locate the fuse.

Is anyone using this interface? I love it because it's also a physical mixer but it has some quirks which I've noticed on other PreSonus equipment as well.
I use it with Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio and it works fine but after being armed for a couple of hours, seems to need a release and renew of the driver.

At the momment I'am using M-Audio USB midi-keyboard.

It's connected to PC via USB.

It has an instrument and mic input (dynamic, so it has no phantom power)
