Hi All,

I currently use "E-MU 1820M" as my preamp, and I am thinking
about getting the "ART Pro Channel" preamp and compressor.

Is there a real differance between the two preamps?
Is it a real "upgrade" or will I recieve the same results?

The ART Pro tube compressoris it a p.o.s(you get what you pay for)oris it all marketing hype?
I hate asking these question,----should I just spend 1g more and buy a higher end compressor?

the art prochannel is a tube preamp/compressor/eq all in one for arround 300 bucks but does anyone have one of thease or know anything about one? any feedback would be helpfull

I've read that most here think the ART Pro Channel as a preamp in nothing great. Is it worth the money to get it as a compressor? Haven't seen much said about the rest of the unit other than it's preamp.

After searching for my first "real" preamp I've decided on a Sebatron 2000eVu. I am putting money into an account and hope to purchase it within about 4 months.

Does anyone know anything about the ART Dual MP preamp, is it really any good for such a small price? I am hearing I should pay no more than $100, but really get a lot of bang for the buck? Anyone.

I've seen numerous threads about this unit and I have some specific questions.

First off, the only compressors I'm using right now are the stock Cubase SX plugins and the 1176 SE plugin in the UAD-1. For some reason I don't think these compressors are suiting my needs, and I want to venture outside of my software.

We're in the process of upgrading our studio, in I'm in a debate with my producer about which pre-amp to go with. We're looking for the best upgrade to get a better sound in vocals. Our style of music we've been recording has been Rap, R&B, and worship. We're upgrading our mic to a Shure KSM27. Right now we're using the pre-amp built-in our Behringer mixer.

Hi all. Got a question. ART mic preamps, are they any good?
I've read that Groove Tubes, "The Brick," rocks.
Specifically, I need a,"worthy" mic preamp that won't break the bank.

i am looking into buying this preamp but i havent heard it yet... does anyone know anything about its quality. any feedback back is greatly appreciated... thank you and haleluyah.
