Live/Tracking Room DIY Diffusion/Scattering Acoustic Treatment & Material Options
In my opinion (i think most will agree) that after the original source (instrument, amp, etc..) the room that the instrument is being tracked in is the first stage of EQ.
room treatment to reduce reverb/echo
Dear Forum, I have a home studio that I use for doing sound design for theatre, mixing acoustic theatre (theatrical installations and radio drama) and composing electro-acoustic music. I'm gradually diminishing the reverb in the room and I'd like some advice please on further steps I can take on a low budget (we renovated this house recently so I'm doing things slowly!).

Hello everyone, my name is Gianluca and I'm writing from Italy.
I turned a basement into a recording studio, but I need a hand to the acoustic treatment.
Floor, ceiling and walls are covered with wood. Under the wood there is a layer of lead, polystyrene and moisture resistant material.
The dimensions are:
Length: 4m
Width: 2.56mt
Height: 2.7 meters

Room Placement of my Acoustic Treatment?
Hello all,
I just bought 9 pieces of rigid fiberglass board, 3# density (Johns Manville 814). 24"x48"x2".
I have lots of acoustically transparent burlap to wrap the panels in, and mounting hardware, for walls, corners, and ceiling.

Moving guitar reamping rig to unfinished basement ?
I am considering moving my guitar reamping rig to the basement to free up space in my mixing room where it is now. The guitar rig is currently heavily treated in all directions (not an iso box) to stop immediate reflections and give a clearer sound, but the room is somewhat on the small side.
Safe, Non Toxic Acoustic Treatment?
Looking to treat my room, but I want it to be safe for health. From just breathing it (even if uncovered), handling it and in case my dog accidently eats some of it.
What kind of material would be what I am looking for. Safe and non-toxic, yet a great sound absorber.

Safe/Non-Toxic Sound Absorption / Acoustic Treatment
Looking to acoustic treat my room. I want to get safe, non toxic acoustic treatment that still has good sound absorption. Looking for the material wise, since different pieces would be used for different frequencies. Want it safe to breath (even if not covered by fabric), also safe in case my dog accidently chews and swallows some. Also safe to handle.
